Carter Oosterhouse uses kirei, a sustainable building product made from sorghum, to build a cabinet.
More in Home Improvement
Kirei board is manufactured from the stalks of the sorghum plant, which typically are burned or thrown into landfills after the edible portion of the plant is harvested for food. Kirei is an eco-friendly board made through the use of non-toxic adhesive that does not emit formaldehyde. In this project, Carter built a television cabinet and desks using kirei board.
