For the transformation, the walls get a custom paint job with a two-tone and pinstripe motif that adds dimension while helping open up the space. An unused alcove gets converted into a hidden library with built-in shelving for Jon's collection of hot-rodding magazines. The new garage will double as a functional workshop and the headquarters for the Burbank Choppers local hot-rod club.
