The Vytek laser can etch any image onto just about any material. A computer scans in the image, then feeds it to the laser. The laser then uses a beam of light to etch the image onto a piece of material. With each pass of the beam, the material is burned away to reveal the image.

A water jet CNC cutter is powered by a hydraulic pump and produces a stream of water powerful enough to erode metal, glass and granite. The stream is so powerful that a 30-inch tank of water has to be placed under it to slow down the force of the stream after it goes through the material.
