DIY Network

Before joining the DIY Network family as the host of Waterscapes, Heidi Robinson worked in broadcast news as a producer, an award-winning consumer reporter and a news anchor at Chattanooga's NBC affiliate, WRCB-TV, and CBS affiliate, WDEF. Robinson still resides in Chattanooga with her husband, Jay, and their two young children, Blake and Zach. She also shares her home with a large Rhodesian ridgeback hound named Salish, who loves to eat do-it-yourself projects - or any other intriguing objects left unattended.

When she isn't exploring the mysteries of lawn care, this host-on-the-go stays plenty busy. She has twice completed the New York City Marathon, among other races, and was delighted to run the Olympic torch. She also has a heart for helping and is active with inner-city youth outreach, for which she received the Isaiah Award, and serves on the boards of Goodwill Industries and the Bethlehem Center.
