After building a deck on her backyard lawn, Julie Stern soon realized that it wouldn't stand the test of time or the weight of the hot tub she hoped to install. What's more, the concrete slab outside her back doors collects water that she is worried is seeping into the house. So Jackie and Dean come to her aid and show Julie how to solve both nagging problems using innovative materials and clever solutions. Dean shows Julie some outdoor plumbing made easy, but will it catch all the rainwater? And the deck will get a fresh face of faux lumber that can handle anything the weather brings. They won't be throwing away any materials as excess is put to good use to create a new yard that is both functional and fun!
