How to Appear on DIY Network
Find inspiration to turn your ordinary backyard into a spectacular private retreat or outdoor living space.
DIY Network's project-driven one-hour special Green Me Up, hosted by Ahmed Hassan and Rachel Schindler, gets two families to go head-to-head to cut their energy consumption and reduce their utility bills and win a brand-new eco-friendly car! Each family is given the opportunity to make green renovations to their home, choosing from projects including installing a tankless hot water system, replacing light fixtures with Energy Star rated models, choosing a circulating system for instant hot water and many more. Projects are things any homeowner can do to help protect the environment and reduce energy bills. But this is a competition, so the family that best exemplifies their new green attitude will win a new electric Kurrent NV. Green Me Up is lots of fun to watch, but you will get tons of information you can use to go green in your home!
