    • Professional services for exterior house painting in Chicago, Does your home or commercial property require a paint job? Or maybe a little more touch up than painting? There are two ways you can get that perfect looking exterior ? either you can try and do it yourself, or you can hire professionals to take care of your painting and restoration needs.

If it?s the outside of your home that needs painting; professional painting services Chicago offer a wide range of painting and restoration services. Their services can range from custom mill work to tuckpointing and from washing to exterior house painting.

Most people feel painting is a simply task and consider painting themselves ? a do-it-yourself job. However, in their attempt to paint, most of them find it out the hard way that painting can be time consuming and a special skill job.

Most types of painting jobs that occur at home or in commercial settings cannot be done without professional assistance. Such jobs require exterior painting Chicagospecialists to deliver clean lines and well finished corners. Professional painters in Chicago specialize in making the finest looking homes look even more striking.

With masonry contractors in Chicago, the painters help strip and refinish any kind of woodwork that requires repair before painting. Professionals ensure proper removal of old finishes from the surface with due care. The surface is then completely scrapped and sanded to ensure all the paint is peeled of before it is washed and the final coat is applied. Masonry in Chicago are experts in paint stripping, removing of drywall and insulation, in tuckpointing crippling mortar and doing quality exterior painting.

So, whether you believe you need a professional painter to take care of your paint job, or you insist on doing it by yourself; you must keep in mind that the paint you apply and the manner in which it is applied, it should last long ? since you are not going to paint the home or office exterior before five years.

Preparing the surface well for painting, and using the finest quality paints and materials is the only way to ensure a good end result, and help extend the longevity of your paint job., Home Exterior Design

    • My 1st Major Project, I have a pretty square and plane living room so I decided to put a hint of color an texture to it. I installed an Electric fireplace with LED, custom build shelve that were stained with red mahogany stain, and the background is a product called airstone "autumn mountain". Another great feature is that all wiring is running inside the wall, "HDMI, Cable and electrical outlets in the shelve". This was a 100% DIY project, so no labor cost, whoop whoop!!!!, Living Rooms Design

    • Help! What to do with this wall , and the windows !, Hi and Thanks in advance ,
This is my living room wall , with a TV that hung on it. Obviously the speaker on the floor is a temporary thing.
The wall is about 18Feet wide, I am adding 2 40 inch storage bench and planning to build a "floating shelf" type counter wal to tall about 4 feet above the ground with a small entertaintment cabinet

But I need some ideas other than that. There use to be a huge ledge that was really unrealstic and made the room look very small.
The windows are also a pain as during most of the day there is a lot of light that comes through ( Which i like as it brightens up the room) but it sure is a pain when we are watching the TV.
Also do not know how to decorate the window area.

I apologize if my description was a little confusing and not clear.
Thanks in advance, Living Rooms Design
