Bruce Bonebrake is an ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified Master Auto Technician whose mechanical expertise extends beyond the family sedan to a variety of mechanical disciplines. Bruce holds five other automotive industry certifications in addition to his master mechanic status. Involved in the automotive field for 32 years, Bruce has owned his own auto repair business since 1991 where he performs complete automotive repair specializing in late-model engine performance problems and electrical challenges. He is also the Automotive Instructor at the Beck Area Career Center located in Red Bud, IL.
Bruce has extended his automotive expertise into cyberspace by co-founding a website, batauto.com (http://www.batauto.com/), which is geared toward helping people diagnose and tackle their own vehicle problems, as well as provide a forum for other mechanics and technicians to talk and share insights. As if that's not enough to keep Bruce busy, he also tinkers in electronics by repairing and rebuilding lap top computers.
When he isn't immersed in something mechanical, Bruce most enjoys spending time with his family. Playing the drums, camping, boating, and spending time on the lake fishing, are high on the list, too. Bruce lives in Illinois with his wife and two children.
