    • Family room makeover...for under $100, I was able to spruce up our boring family room for under $100. I covered the cushions with burgundy sheets. Covered the larger throw pillows with coordinating fabric. I found a cream bed skirt at a thrift store and attached it to the bottom. I found the rug on clearence at Target (I wish it was a little bigger, but for $25...I can't complain). And finally the lamp is a yard sale find., Living Rooms Design

    • Charming Toile kitchen (renovation), I did a complete renovation of my 1970's kitchen (total spent was around $8500). We put in granite countertops and backsplash and new flooring. Put in all new stainless steel appliances. I stripped and painted the cabinets a deep mocha brown and added pewter hardware. Changed out the lightning and fan and changed out the faucet. Painted the old dining set the same color as the cabinets. Lastly I decorated with a black and ecru toile theme., Kitchens Design
