16. Since it is a big surface, you want your stripe to line up in the right place, and contact cement bonds on contact so you don't get any second chances. Put some craft paper on to prevent the piece from bonding until you get it lined up exactly where you want it.17. Once the paper is on, line up the laminate top, press it into place, and pull the paper out from beneath it. 18. Get out the J-roller again and remove the craft paper from the other end and do the same thing (figure D). 19. Trim off the excess with the laminate trimmer. 20. The bottom goes on just like the top except it's a solid piece of wood grain laminate, with no stripe.
