    4. Take spring clamps and then use them to connect the dots in a nice fluid curve and trace that with a pencil.

    Note: Adding spring clamps gives the laminate a little bit of weight on both ends and makes it easier to draw the curves.

    5. To form the curve on the ends (figure B), line up the three end points and trace the curves on both ends.

    6. To form the centerline, go up 5/8" and mark the very top of where you want the curve.

    7. Cut this out on the band saw. The blade is one continuous metal band that swirls around on wheels at a high-speed creating the cut.

    8. Slide the tempered hardboard into the band saw and slowly feed the work piece around the saw blade.

    9. Take it just over the line because the edges will be a tad rough when you are finished.

    10. Flip it around and cut the other side.

    Note: Keep the pressure evenly distributed across the hardboard to get an accurate cut. If you don't have a band saw around, you can always use a hand-held jigsaw.
