    Cart Construction

    Materials Note: The dimensions given and assumed below are nominal. There are a few areas where site-specific measurements are best, which I'll point out as we go.

    1. Cut a sheet of 1/2 inch (or better) OSB or plywood 24 x 24 inches.

    2. Cut two pieces of 2x4 24 inches long. Before cutting these, make sure the plywood you cut is actually 24x24 (it's easy to come up a little short or a little heavy.) If it's not, simply cut the 2x4 to match the plywood.

    3. Clamp both 2x4s to opposite sides of the plywood. Make sure each 2x4 is flush with the plywood on all outside edges. It helps to use the factory-cut edge (not the one you cut) of the plywood as a guide.
