Host Amy Devers continues the Freeform Furniture project by measuring and cutting the ribbon for the chandelier. She seals the ends with the flame of a lighter, and then uses white glue and a craft brush to press the strips of ribbon parallel to the edge of the wood. Lastly, she lets the glue dry for about an hour.

Ribbon for the Chandelier- Measure the ribbon to match the exact length of the veneer strips (figure A).
- Start cutting. The ends will be a bit frayed and unfinished and you can barely touch the edge of the ribbon with the flame of a lighter.
- Run the strips of ribbon parallel to the edge of the wood. Take some white glue and a regular craft paint brush and paint a little on the edge. Press it into place (figure B).
- When you apply the glue, make sure there is enough space between the two pieces of veneer so it can be folded later. The space between the strips of wood needs to equal twice the thickness of the veneer. To make it easy, tape two pieces of veneer together and use it as a spacer.
- Let the glue dry for approximately an hour.
