    Host Paul Ryan begins by laying out the inventory of the waterfall shipment. An electrician added a new outlet and switch box to the area where the waterfall will hang from. Using a laser level and a stud finder, Paul hangs the brackets for the waterfall.

    Materials:

    Safety glasses
    Work gloves
    Waterfall kit
    Drop cloth
    Carpenter’s pencil
    Flathead screwdriver
    Level
    Laser level
    Hammer
    Tape measure
    Power drill
    Stud finder
    Right angle impact driver
    2-1/2" screws
    2-1/4" lag screws
    Wall anchors
    Cotton cloth or sponge
    Spray bottle
    Distilled water

    Waterfall Location

    1. Begin by laying out the materials and taking a quick look over the inventory (figure A).

    2. Find an area to hang the waterfall within the home, making sure that there are enough studs to hang it from (figure B).

    3. Have an electrician rewire or add electricity to the area in which the waterfall will be hanging from (figure C).

    4. Using a stud finder, mark and locate at least three studs (figure D).

    5. With a level, transfer the mark on the center of the stud all the way down the wall to where the J-brackets will be mounted (figure E).

    6. Measure 30 inches from the floor to the bottom of where the bracket for the basin will be (figure F).

    7. Use a laser level and line it up with the first 30" mark (figure G). A laser level will ensure the brackets are lined up and level for the basin.

    8. Using 2-1/2" screws, attach the three centered brackets into the studs (figure H).
