About This Show

No project is too massive, too dangerous or too astounding to prevent licensed contractor Matt Blashaw from attempting it. In DIY Network's Project Xtreme, Matt fixes roller-coaster tracks at King Dominion; converts a Coldplay concert venue into a hockey rink in less than 12 hours; blasts and paints the hull of a Disney cruise ship; hangs out of a helicopter hauling air conditioning units in downtown Chicago; and performs risky underwater welding to fix a failing bridge. The projects Matt encounters are taken to the extreme, with his life often hanging in the balance.
