The Tajima Plumb Rite plumb bob attaches to a vertical surface to measure its plumb (figure A). Its bob is suspended at the end of a 12 1/2" nylon line and comes to a heavy metal point (figure B). The housing has a spring-loaded metal pin to hold it in place so it can be suspended from a wooden surface. A magnet on the side will hold it to a metal surface. The line retracts automatically into the housing, eliminating the cranking associated with traditional plumb bobs. The Plumb Rite bob is handy for hanging wallpaper and paneling, plumbing a wall or installing siding.
