Every workshop needs flashlights and work lights. They're available in various types and sizes. Some flashlights can be worn as a headband so that everywhere you look, you have light (figure A). Pocket-sized flashlights clip to a belt or shirt pocket for convenient, hands-free lighting (figure B). A flexible wire light can reach into tight spaces (figure C). This type of light is useful when you're looking for leaks or checking wiring inside a wall. Some models of miniature flashlights can be adjusted to emit a small spotlight or a larger floodlight (figure D). Most modern standard-sized flashlights have adjustable heads and adjustable beams (figure E). To make a homemade flashlight stand, place a rubber band around the handles of a pair of pliers (figure F).
