    Figure A

The Carter Minimach Vacuum SystemB. is a portable, self-adjusting vacuum bed that harnesses the power of your wet/dry vacuum to hold work down securely (figure A). When the system is activated, its gasketed underside grips the surface of your workbench, providing a stable surface. The top surface uses 12 vacuum cells, each containing a self-activating suction valve, to anchor any flat work piece from 4" by 4" to 4' by 4'. When you're done with the vacuum system, its control tap releases your work in an instant.
