When you're doing remodeling, putting up the drywall over the outlet box is usually difficult. Trying to cut the hole for the outlet box perfectly is not an easy chore, but this week's cool tool sure can help.

The Roto Zip was invented approximately 30 years ago, and it utilizes special zip bits to cut those difficult holes. Here are just a few of its unique features:

    • First, there are a multitude of attachments (figure A) from which to choose.

    • In the past 30 years there have been many improvements, including computer controls, various speeds and an LED light to see your work surface.

    • The zipmate right angle attachment is perfect for cutting tiles.

    • You can use a plunge-router attachment to bring out your "creative" side by carving a design (figure B) on wooden doors, cabinets, etc.
