    Materials (figure A):

    2 pieces of cardstock
    4 boxes of matches
    Craft glue
    Decorative paper
    Craft knife
    Brads (handles)

    1. With a craft knife cut a small slit into each matchbox where you want the brad (the handle to each box) to stick out.

    2. Push a brad into each slit (figure B) and bend out the legs.

    3. Arrange matchboxes so that they form a square with a hole in the middle (figure C).

    4. Measure one side of the square.

    5. Cut 2 pieces of cardstock to the size of the square.

    6. Cover cut cardstock with paper.

    7. Glue the covered cardstock on top of the matchbox square (figure D).

    8. Flip the box over and glue the other piece of cardstock to the bottom of the matchbox square.

Tip: These boxes can also be covered with adhesive plastic coverings found at craft stores.

Products: All supplies are available at any drugstore.
