Host Fuad Reveiz walks you through the entire process of removing a non-bearing or dividing wall. He checks the attic to determine if the wall is bearing or dividing then begins his pre-weekend prep by gathering tools and materials and by removing some furniture from his work area. He measures the area for his new fixtures and begins his demolition. He gradually removes the wall between the kitchen and family room while leaving an attractive soffit to dress up the space. He patches up the drywall and installs a fascia board. Once the main construction is complete Finally, Reveiz installs new lights and base cabinets and counter tops.
