In an earlier episode of
Weekend Landscaping, host Jessie Mack Burns created an outdoor patio/game room that featured a living chessboard. The open roof over the game room doesn't provide enough shade during the hottest part of the summer, however, so now she's adding shade with style to the area. Using unusual materials in imaginative ways, she creates a ceiling that is as whimsical as the floor below. And when plants and furniture are added, this one-of-a-kind environment may just become the coziest room in the neighborhood.
