In this, the first episode of a two-weekend, two-episode project, Mayita creates all of the "non-plant" elements in a water garden: she digs the hole in the lawn, measuring it to fit the plastic pool liner she'll be using; then she adds the pump, the filter, the electric elements to make it run and the pavers that ring the pond. Next episode: the plants!
