The city engineers have just put in curbs and driveway entries in our homeowner's neighborhood. The new concrete makes the old plantings rather sad looking. Host Maureen Gilmer creates a welcoming entry to the driveway with lots of color in the planting scheme, de-emphasizing the ugly chain-link fence. Maureen installs an irrigation system and garden art in the form of a 6-foot tall metal giraffe.
