In this episode of
Weekend Entertaining, host Jeanne Benedict and the party hosts create a beautiful dinner party set outside with a stunning view—inspired by Italian frescos. The food at the party will be served family style on an extra large table, and each place setting will have a large, decoupage tile that will act as a charger. Fabric in Italian colors and themes will be cut into designs and used to decoupage the tiles. Accenting the table will be elegant hand-made lemon topiaries. Guests will revel in each delicious bite of the menu—Crostini and White Bean Dip as an appetizer, Panzanella, Roasted Vegetable Polenta Tart, Tuscan Lemon and Garlic Roast Chicken for the main course and an Italian Cream Cake for dessert.
