Host Jeanne Benedict shows you how to create a lovely Elegant Evening Tea Party.
|
Show host Jeanne Benedict helps Lisa, the party host, prepare an
Elegant Evening Tea Party for her girlfriends. Lisa's friends Tracy and Christine are helping in the prep for this party. First they create a tea embossed invitation with a fabric pocket. Next they construct tea pot fountains as centerpieces for the tables. Then they make chair caps for the party with fabric and ribbon and create name plates to hang on the back of the chair caps from old china saucers and three-dimensional paint. The food for the party includes rich lobster bisque paired with a lobster melt crouton and chicken or salmon with citrus herb butter served over a bed of vegetables and cooked in parchment paper.
This party is rated 2 on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the most difficult, and is geared toward the skills of a frequent entertainer.
