Host Jeanne Benedict and Michele (the party host) create a knitting themed party.
|
Show host Jeanne Benedict and the party host (Michele) create a knitting themed party where every aspect of the event is related to knitting. First they create a ball-of-yarn invite from clear plastic ornaments. Guests of the party will be treated to a knitting lesson from the host of DIY's
Knitty Gritty, Vickie Howell. To prepare the guests for the knitting lesson Jeanne and Michele make felt bags to hold the knitting goodies guests will need to create their own scarf. Then they head to the kitchen to make lemon rosemary chicken meatballs wrapped with fettuccini. They also make snowballs for dessert that follow the spherical shape of a ball of yarn and are accented with sandwich picks to look like yarn needles.
This party is rated 3 on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the most difficult, and is geared toward the skills of a frequent entertainer.
