Show host Jeannie Benedict, along with the party hosts, creates a lovely Thailand theme party.
|
Show host Jeanne Benedict helps the party hosts (Doug and Romy) prepare for a
Thai Party. First they decorate a garden umbrella with silk brocade fabric and gold lame. Then they decorate light strands with crepe paper flowers and cocktail drink umbrellas. Next they make Loy Krathong's from plastic foam disks and artificial leaves. They also set-up a Loy Krithong make-and-take station for guests to create their own. In the kitchen the recipes are inspired by Thailand – pad thai and a coconut shrimp soup. Before the party starts they set up the buffet table complete with a floating pool which house floating boat platters.
This party is rated 4 on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the most difficult, and is geared toward the skills of a frequent entertainer.
