In this episode, show host Jeanne Benedict introduces Ken and Tammy (the party hosts) to the joys of sushi. To accent the tables, Jeanne and Tammy make a no-sew table runner and decorate it with beautiful stamps of Japanese characters and scenes. For the chopsticks that will be used at the dinner table, coordinating rests are made for each of the guests. For the table centerpieces, Jeanne and Tammy use flowers to mimic the look of sushi rolls.
In the kitchen, Jeanne and Ken put to use some nifty machines and make a ginger-strawberry dessert roll, as well as many types of Nigiri. They also create a stacked California roll. During the party Jeanne gives guests a lesson on the subtle flavors of Sake.
