Host Jeanne Benedict shows you how to create a "Lovely Night in Moscow" party!
|
In this episode host Jeanne Benedict takes a cue from party host Daria's Russian heritage to help her and husband (Michael) create an intimate dinner party that will feel like a trip to Moscow. They make unique invitations using nesting boxes that they paint and bead. Napkin rings with the same painted and beaded motif will complement the dinner table at the party. As a take-away gift, vodka sets infused with ingredients such as peach vanilla bean, chipotle chili, garlic and anise are created for each couple who will attend the dinner. To decorate the table Jeanne and Daria create a beautiful tablescape out of blue sea glass and crystallized birch branches. Traditional Russian recipes such as Salmon Coulibiac and Russian Creme Cake are featured.
