David Madera and CJ Poust have the luxury of living in one home while they fix up another. Before moving into their new home, Madera and Poust want to make some improvements. One of the biggest changes they're going to make to the house is creating a new master bathroom out of a small half bath. Their plan includes knocking out a wall and building a whole new space with brand new fixtures. They begin day one of the project by demolishing a wall.
After starting the project, Madera decides to expand the renovation by breaking through another adjoining wall to create a separate space for the toilet. This action takes Poust by surprise, but ultimately she likes the idea. On day two, the couple finishes the rest of the demo work. On day three, Madera and his brother remove the old floor. On day four, Madera and a friend install a spa tub. They decide to reposition a window, causing an unanticipated setback.
The shower gets tiled on day fifteen. A few days later the vanity and granite countertop are installed. The project wraps up after 28 days of hard work, one week over schedule. But Madera and Poust love their new master bath.
