Project by Nicole Rivera of Brooklyn, N. Y. Nicole is not a planner. She started making handbags completely on a whim. This funny free spirit is a firm believer in doing things as she sees fit and as she feels it...as she shows with her leather and beaded purse. Materials: leather lining fabric glue beads ribbon scissors or fabric cutter Steps: 1. Draw freehand the shape of the exterior of the bag and cut out. 2. Trace exterior of bag onto lining. 3. Stitch exterior and lining together. 4. Cut out different shapes from other scrap leather and glue onto front of handbag, along with beads. 5. Attach ribbon (handles) to handbag and string beads.
