While jogging in Prospect Park one morning John spots some bird watchers and decides that building a birdhouse would be a good idea. He asks Jimmy to return with him to the park in hopes of gaining a better understanding of their habitat. After playfully trying out some bird calls, speaking with park patrons and a conversation with the director of the park's Audubon Center, they get great ideas for a home for the wood ducks in the area. Jimmy incorporates Victorian-style decor on the house after being inspired by a pavilion he saw in the parke, making the birdhouse out of wood and painting it in bright colors.
