John and Jimmy DiResta bring the comforts of home to the great outdoors when they build a king-size Adirondack-style bed frame. They start with 8-foot white birch logs and use special tools and techniques to notch and peg the birch. This makes for beautiful but durable rails and posts accented with white bark. They then sew canvas fabric into a quilted pattern and use foam rubber as padding to upholster the headboard. The size and strength of the bed make it perfect for an entire family to enjoy breakfast in bed.
