Trouble arises at the Design Tech development project, in the form of an improperly pitched concrete patio that collects rainwater. Johnny D. and Palanca call on the help of Palanca's brother Billy. The owner of concrete company, Billy swoops in to save the day by installing pavers to correct the problem. As this happens, Johnny D. shows how to install stone caps on the project's roof parapets, and a long delay in the delivery of cabinets from China is costing the company money and causing strife between the Johns.
