The guys from Design Tech argue over whether to take on a low profit and big headache job of building a pair of custom mahogany doors.
Once again the boys at Design Tech are butting heads about how to run the business. Johnny D. chooses to focus on their new development at Lincoln Place, while Palanca favors the hands on construction of a renovation at Kate's place.
All attention is turned toward a major structural project at Design Tech as a deadline quickly approaches. In order to keep from going far over budget, Tommy, Johnny D., and Palanca have to roll up their sleeves.
Once again Johnny D. and Palanca are occupied by different priorities. Palanca spends his time installing custom cabinets for a client at First St. All the while Johnny D. is busy with the various subcontractors at Lincoln Place.
Work begins at Bond Street and gets off on a rocky start. Palanca spends his time at Second St. once again, doing a custom refurbishing job on some old worn-in staircases.
