Is your digital photograph collection a mess? Professional photographer Erin Manning understands the frustration many people have when trying to find a specific photograph in their digital collection and teaches you how to get back in control. First, she teaches her student about media cards, showing her ways to manage them and how to transfer images off of them properly. Next, Erin demonstrates some different portable media storage devices that can store your photographs until you can get back to your computer. She then shows her student how to organize all her digital photos on the computer so that they can easily be found, using tricks like metadata to make searches a breeze. Lastly, Erin shows how to archive images on a disc so that even if the computer dies, the images will be preserved.
