Often, when we photograph buildings, the result is far less magnificent than the subject we are trying to capture. However, professional photographer Erin Manning has some tips and tricks that will help any photographer take better photographs of architecture. Erin begins by showing the importance of setting your camera to the highest resolution before taking any architectural pictures. Then she teaches how taking a little time to set up a shooting shoot from interesting angles can really pay. Next, Erin explains two different approaches to architectural photography one that seeks to capture the entirety of the structure and the other seeks to capture the details of a building. Erin then shows some tools that will help you get a little more out of you camera. Lastly, she takes her student back to her studio and shows how to correct any distortions caused by the lens.
