Dave and Allison Estabrook admit they’d rather be working on their next vacation than working around the house and they need help. The concrete floors are stained and cold, the window treatments are ragged and crooked, and the baseboard is unfinished. The Estabrooks' bedroom would make anyone want to run away!
The DIY to the Rescue team is ready to help this couple create a master bedroom worth staying home for. First Amy, Karl, and Nathan help Dave & Allison install a laminate bamboo floor over their concrete floor. Then Nathan walks Dave through putting in baseboard. he local contractor builds a corner unit for the Estbrooks’ TV while Amy teaches Dave how to use a laser level to paint a two-tone scheme around the room. Finally, the crew shows the Estabrooks how to hang some nice window treatments and add other finishing touches around the room. In just three days the dull master bedroom is transformed into a sunny, tropical retreat.
