Julie and Kevin Green's nine children attend school at their Indianapolis home and have to endure a classroom that is in total disrepair. That's where the
DIY to the Rescue crew comes in. First, the classroom gets some much needed repair to its plaster walls before a new suspended ceiling is added to sound-proof the space. A jamb and some trim are added to the closet to match the room's existing trim and make it functional for Julie to store her school supplies in. When all the major projects are done the finishing touches are added: paint, window treatments and new desks for the kids. Now the Green school is back in session!
