Sarah Powell is learning how to be a wizard with a wrench. At Arapahoe Community College, Sarah runs the course to become a certified auto mechanic. She reviews a basic, twelve-point inspection and breezes through a routine oil change. With the help of instructor Al Dragoo, Sarah checks and repairs a rear differential in a snap. But at her apprenticeship, it’s Sarah’s mentor, Jeff McCoy, who tests her patience. Jeff rigs a car with three bugs that Sarah must diagnose and fix. Sarah sees if she has what it takes to repair the car and still be off the clock by 5:00.
