Master potter Bill van Gilder makes two forms, a cylinder and a bowl, that fit together to produce a single serving piece. The cylinder holds ice or hot water, and the smaller dip bowl rests on the cylinder's rim. Two pulled handles are attached to the cylinder and decorated to match the rim of the bowl. All the pieces are thrown on the potter's wheel.
