Laura Stockdale is a single mom starting over. She has a new house -- and not much else. She knows that the kitchen is often the heart of the home and wants to start her decorating with that room, but she doesn't really have any ideas on how to do it. Enter the Material Girls with a spread of French country fabrics to inject color and a sense of "home" into Laura's kitchen. In this episode, we learn how to build and cover a cornice board; sew a Roman shade; and make a fabric-covered memo board on which to display family photos.
