Host Paul Ryan's mother needs a new kitchen. He and his equally handy brothers are pitching in to give their mother the kitchen of her dreams. They gut the entire space, pulling out '60s-era metal cabinets, four layers of linoleum and dingy looking white countertops. In its place a traditional kitchen with vintage charm will emerge.
In this last of three episodes, Paul and his brothers get more help as they finish mom's kitchen renovation. First up, a perforated backsplash is installed for the pots and pans. For the countertops, they install natural slate and add butcherblock counter accents by the range and desk area. The final details are finished as the cabinet hardware goes up and then mom's favorite part — the new appliances are installed.
