Homeowners Marshall and Jeanine have called their walk-out rambler "home" for the last 14 years. Kitchen Renovations host Paul Ryan is going to give it a sleek contemporary style to keep pace with the rest of the home.
After developing a plan with the kitchen designer, Ryan and the homeowners emptied the kitchen and started tearing out the old cabinets and countertop, the tile floor and busted through the pantry wall to gain some valuable space for the new island. The result in this first of four installments is a nice clean workspace, ready to give the new kitchen a fresh start.
