Dean and Derek head to South Beach, Florida to transform a narrow lack luster terrace into a posh outdoor entertainment room. Fernando Wong and Tim Johnson have no place to sit and eat with friends in their high-rise condominium in South Beach. But they do have an extraordinary space outside with a unique design challenges: it's long and narrow. Dean and Derek work with Fernando on a design to create dining and seating areas for private use that can transition easily for entertainment purposes. They warm up the concrete floor with wooden decking tile and add color to the walls with masonry paint. One-of-a-kind art evokes tranquility at each end and multifunctional furniture adds flexibility and elegance. Throw in unique decorations, and it's an outdoor room that reaches new heights.
