Mark and Joy Bowen are ready to make a change in their professional lives after working for years in the software/marketing industries. They're taking their love of gourmet cooking, wine collecting and entertaining to the next level by opening a restaurant. In order to hone their entertaining skills, Mark and Joy want to turn a rarely-used storage room into a wine cellar and tasting room where guests can sample the couple's 700 bottles of wines from around the world.
Host Michael Ray Wisely and the homeowners add elegant wallpaper in the tasting room and rebuild the floors with a cork laminated system. To hold the wine collection, Mark and Joy also build a number of wine racks from kits and install a climate-control system to keep the wine chilled at the proper temperature.
