This episode brings to a conclusion the violin-building project. (A follow-up episode shows the process for creating a violin bow.) Viewers learn in this episode how to fit the violin's neck to the body and how to apply a finish to the instrument. Students are treated once again to beautiful and priceless examples of the world's greatest violins. They learn that the legendary varnish used by Stradivarius is no different than the mixture concocted at the Chicago School of Violin Making.
