Homeowner Lisa Marsden is hearing things in her house that are keeping her up at night. She and her kids have also seen little red, beady eyes peering up at them from under their deck. Series host and home inspector Tim Hockenberry finds that the Marsden family has unwanted houseguests. He traces a water leak to the source of the trouble at a roofline joint, where the guests are checking in--all they need is a space the size of a dime. The repairs include flashing to shut one hole, screening for another and drywalling a third. Tim Hockenberry also helps Lisa install wire mesh under the deck and a humane exit-only trapdoor to allow critters to leave but never return. Fellow home inspectors Wally Conway and Rick Yerger join Tim Hockenberry to offer tips on critterproofing your home.
