On this episode we will demonstrate how to save gardening space, grow healthier produce and have a vegetable patch that is strictly on the up-and-up. The trick is vertical gardening, or training vegetables to grow up an arbor, trellis, fence or any other vertical support. We will build a heavy-duty tomato cage, a decorative tepee and a beautiful wood arbor. In the Homegrown Hint, we will demonstrate nature's way to garden vertically in a Three Sisters Garden.
